Raming Blue Moon Thai Tea Mix for Iced Tea & Boba - 250g
Category: blue moon ice cream
Brewing Instructions for One Serving:
Traditional Thai Brewing Method:
Begin by placing 4 teaspoons (8-10g) of tea into a cloth filter bag. Next, pour 150-210ml (5-7 oz.) of boiling water over it. Allow the tea to brew for 1-2 minutes, or until it reaches a dark blue hue. Once brewed, strain the tea, and it’s ready to be used in your preferred tea preparation.
Espresso Machine Method:
In the espresso basket, place 4 teaspoons (8-10g) of tea. Press 1 oz. of water through and let it steep for 10 seconds. Repeat this process 2-3 times to achieve a total extraction of 3-4 oz. of tea.
Pour Over or Drip Method:
Fill the dripper with 4 teaspoons (8-10g) of tea. We recommend pre-wetting the filter with hot water before adding the tea. Pour boiling water over the tea 2-3 times, at intervals of every 2 oz., ensuring brief extraction periods between pours.
Note: A coarse mesh strainer is not recommended for Thai tea as it will not effectively catch the finer tea particles.
Important:
To preserve the beautiful blue tone, be cautious of extraction time. Extended brewing can lead to green tones due to the mixing of yellow and blue shades.
Mixing Instructions:

For Blue Moon Pastel Milk Tea (Thai Iced Tea):
Combine 1 oz. of sweetened condensed milk with 2-3 oz. of fresh milk (or half-and-half, depending on your preference). Pour this milk mixture over ice. Then, slowly pour the brewed tea over the milk to create a stunning layered effect. -
For Lemon Thai Tea:
Mix the tea with 20-30 ml of sugar syrup based on your taste preference. Pour this over ice and then add 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Garnish with a lemon slice. Adding lemon will transform the tea into a beautiful violet color.
Authentic Thai Experience:
Enjoy Raming Traditional Thai Tea, showcasing the natural blue hue derived from butterfly pea flowers. It is not only delicious but also evokes the exotic flavors reminiscent of classic Thai restaurants, specifically Cha Yen or Cha Thai.
Our Commitment to Quality:
Crafted from Organic Thai tea and Assamica, our blend includes Thailand’s native flower, organic blue pea. Importantly, it contains no artificial food dyes such as fd&c orange. You can indulge in our tea worry-free; our product is sugar-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO.
The Magic of Butterfly Pea:
Our tea dissolves effortlessly in hot water, making it an excellent base for boba milk tea, ice creams, baked goods, and a diverse range of beautiful café and mixology beverages. The infusion of natural blue pigments allows for mesmerizing color transformations. By adding a squeeze of lemon, watch the hue shift from vibrant blue to purple, and eventually to pink. The flowers are rich in anthocyanins, a type of beneficial antioxidant.

Founded in 1941, Raming is recognized as Thailand's pioneering tea producer. We take pride in being the first Thai tea manufacturer to achieve international organic certification.
